Most gatherings give people something to watch, eat or scroll. An interlude gives them a pause: a few unhurried hours to put the phone away, pick up some art supplies and make something together.

No phones. No screens. No interruptions. Just the people you care about, and colour.

I don’t stand at the front and watch. I create alongside your guests, so everyone is a beginner together and nobody is being taught or judged.

How an interlude makes your event blossom

Something shifts when people create side by side. Conversations start differently, guests relax, and friends, family and colleagues connect in ways a meal or a presentation rarely allows. You don’t need any experience or artistic ability, only a willingness to take part.

• Up to 10 people at my venue
• Up to 20 people at your venue, where you provide the table and chairs
• Everyone creates on one large shared sheet, each adding their own touch
• The finished piece can be kept whole or cut so every participant takes their section home
